Getting to Koh Phi Phi is simple and convenient, and the island is accessible year-round. This small tropical paradise is located in the Andaman Sea — just 42 km from Krabi, 48 km from Phuket, and 35 km from Koh Lanta.
The only way to reach Koh Phi Phi is by boat:
Ferry boats: Larger ferries run several times a day from Krabi, Phuket, and Koh Lanta.
Speedboat transfers: Faster and more flexible, speedboats offer quicker trips and often direct transfers.
All boats arrive at the main Tonsai Pier on Koh Phi Phi Don.
Tip: If you’ve booked your hotel in advance, watch out for a bellboy or boat captain from your hotel waiting for you at the pier. They’ll help with your luggage, either by cart or by longtail boat if your accommodation is on the other side of the island — making your arrival smooth and hassle-free.
